Frontier Communications put together this map with the help of Google Trends. They identified what each individual state has streamed the most so far in 2016. Whether that be March Madness, The Walking Dead, or Beyonce’s Lemonade.
Take a look at the map and Emoji key below:

This map will give you a look at what each state in the USA is watching the most. Whether it’s a Netflix original or a classic show that happens to be available for streaming on there, we all have shows that we just can’t stop watching over and over. I’ve literally watched “Master of None” from front-to-back 6 times now.
Take a look at the map:
Netflix recently released the trailer for their upcoming original series called The Characters. The show features 8 up-and-coming comedians, each of which will get their own entire episode in the season. No rules and no limits. This should be good.

Wes Craven’s New Nightmare (Rotten Tomatoes – 77%)
Watch Freddy Kreuger terrorize the real world of the cast and crew responsible for his films. It’s the seventh movie in the series, but stands out as a solo project, so you don’t have to worry about watching the first 6 movies.
Saw (Rotten Tomatoes – 84%)
Do I need to really explain this classic movie? You’ve most likely seen it by now, if not, you definitely should.
Stephen King’s Children of the Corn (Rotten Tomatoes – Only 38%, but screw it, it’s still a good watch)
Stephen King. Creepy cult kids. Small town with crop fields. ‘Nuff said.
The Omen (Rotten Tomatoes – 86%)
Freaky movie about a kid who ends up being the antichrist. Kids are scary enough as it is, but add in the devil aspect? Sheesh.
The Babadook (Rotten Tomatoes – 98%)
Basically a story about the boogieman haunting a mother and her child.
Scream (Rotten Tomatoes – 78%)
Another classic that you’ve most likely already seen. You should watch Scary Movie right after just because.
If you just want a show to binge watch instead, look no further:
American Horror Story (Rotten Tomatoes – 72%)
If you decide to be a bum all weekend (which is totally fine by the way), then you’ll need hours of material. American Horror Story is a great binge-watch-worthy show.
The latest generation of the Apple TV was announced just a short time ago, and now it is officially available for pre-order. It includes a brand new remote design that supports Siri, and it will now have an even larger selection of apps that you can download. The new 4th generation Apple TV features two different models that include 32GB and 64GB versions. Prices will be $149 for the 32 and $199 for the 64.
5. BoJack Horseman (Rotten Tomatoes Average: 76%):
If you want to watch something light this weekend, BoJack Horseman is a great option. I couldn’t get into it the first time I tried watching it for some reason. I’m very happy I gave it another shot, because now I love it so much that I’ve re-watched the first two seasons several times.
4. The Killing (Rotten Tomatoes Average: 100%):
This is the only show that I haven’t watched in its entirety, but so far it has been great. It’s a slow-burner, but since you’re binge-watching that shouldn’t be a huge deal.
3. How to Get Away With Murder (Rotten Tomatoes Average: 93%):
This ABC show really took me by surprise. There’s only one season on Netflix right now, but it’s so good. If you want a show to really consume you, then this is the one.
2. Peaky Blinders (Rotten Tomatoes Average: 96%):
I wrote a “5 Reasons You Should Watch Peaky Blinders” article not too terribly long ago. Those 5 reasons still stand true today. It’s one the best shows I’ve watched, and season 3 should be coming out soon, so now is the perfect time to play catch-up.
1. Bloodline (Rotten Tomatoes Average: 91%):
This was another show that really took me by surprise. It’s a fairly new Netflix original, and there’s currently just the one season… But it is good. You’ll be addicted to this one no doubt.
You should also check out these 5 movies on Netflix you need to watch.
Roku has released their latest streaming media player and it’s packing some real solid upgrades. I’ll get to all the upgrades in a sec, but the absolute best one that Roku 4 has? A built-in remote finder. It might be time to switch to Roku for that reason alone.
Other upgrades include 4K Ultra HD support and a quad-core processor. It still has your standard streaming options such as Netflix, Hulu, HBO NOW, Amazon and much, much more.
Amazon just unveiled a new version of their Fire TV with a few major upgrades. The new Fire TV features 4K Ultra HD video capabilities. It also includes a new technology called Alexa, a cloud-based voice service that you can use do a number of actions. The processing power is another major upgrade to the system with 75% more processing power than the previous version of Fire TV.
It’s available for pre-order now for $99. Buy it here.
