Nike just unveiled three HTM colorways of the Kobe X Elite model. The three colorways draw inspiration from a shark jaw, race car, and a mamba arrowhead.
If you’re not familiar with HTM, it is a team comprised of Nike’s CEO Mark Parker, Nike’s Vice President of Creative Concepts, Tinker Hatfield, and Fragment Design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara. The shoe uses HTM’s hybrid cushioning system, which combines Nike Lunarlon cushioning, Nike Zoom Air, and Nike Free-inspired siping. That innovative outsole is complemented by a Flyknit upper with Nike’s Flywire technology.
These will launch exclusively at NikeLab LNZ1 Milan on April 16th, and a wider release later in the summer.
With April right around the corner, Nike Basketball has begun preparing the release of their Easter Collection. Playing on the colors and prints synonymous with Easter, the Nike Basketball Easter Collection mixes pastels and graphics with trademark flavor.
The collection features the KOBE X, KD7, KYRIE 1 and LEBRON 12 with special holiday-themed micro camo, florals and abstract prints.
The 2015 Nike Basketball Easter Collection will be available globally at nike.com and select retail locations beginning on April 2nd. The collection also features matching T-shirts, hats and socks connected to each of the four shoes.
