Does anyone know why, though? Did the Illuminati come together and say “dad hats, we’re going to make dad hats cool…”? You’ve probably seen them on everywhere lately. Even on the likes of Rihanna, Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, and many more…
These hats have been around for ages and I certainly don’t recall them being called anything other than a “hat.” I suppose that’s fashion for you, though. Take something pre-existing, give it a new name, market the shit out of it, and voila. You sell out in an instant.
There is definitely no shortage of options out there right now. Every brand seems to be all aboard the Dad Hat Express, and with the demand being so high, who can blame ’em?

All you have to do is tweet a hashtag with the player’s first and last name, and it will automatically insert the emoji representing that player. They even made emojis for the announcers. I think Shaq and Charles Barkley have the best ones.

That’s right, this year the “Word of the Year” is actually one of the most popular emojis used. It’s the “face with tears of joy” emoji. There were a number of other options that were up for consideration, but they felt this emoji best captured the ethos, mood, and preoccupations of 2015. It was also the most used emoji in 2015.
