This is What Elon Musk’s Hyperloop Might Look Like 🚄
Elon Musk first brought the idea of the Hyperloop to the public back in 2013. If you’re not familiar with the project, it’s a conceptual rail system that will push pods through vacuum-tubing at around 760 mph. This thing is super-futuristic Dopeness, and could potentially become the go-to travel method of the future.
Right now, there’s no telling if or when the Hyperloop might happen, though the project and the idea remains very popular. SpaceX (a company that Elon Musk is the CEO of) recently announced a contest for students and independent engineers to design a human-sized pod that will be used for people to travel through the Hyperloop. That contest won’t conclude for another year, with designs being tested in June of 2016.
Argodesign is an Austin, TX-based company who recently designed these concepts of what the Hyperloop might actually look like. Because the system would most likely lack windows, the design firm envisions the interior with screens that display calming landscapes to help alleviate any feelings of claustrophobia (which is scary shit, right?). Their design also includes TV screens in business and coach sections, while the executive seats would allow for meetings, so you can seem more important to other people on the Hyperloop.
Take a more detailed look at the designs below:
