Jordan Brand has officially given us a look at the latest signature shoe in the Air Jordan line. The XXXI pays homage to the original Air Jordan 1 with its simplistic look and Nike “Swoosh” on the side. On the outsole, you’ll find the word “Banned” written across it. This is because the original Jordan 1 was banned from the NBA and players would be fined $5000 each time they wore a pair during the game.
The shoe features a number of different technologies, including a Flyweave and leather upper and full-length Zoom Air in the sole.
Look for these to hit retailers on September 3rd.
Artist Matthew Senna recently made a pair of solid gold OVO Jordan Xs for Drake. The shoes are wrapped in 24K gold and most likely a one-of-one pair. Drake recently posted a photo of the shoes on his Instagram:

If you aren’t familiar with the Crying Jordan meme, you seriously need to get out from under that rock. You can see the original photo below in case you’ve been asleep:
That face has been used on numerous other photos of people basically failing at life, losing a sports game, etc. You can check out a gallery of those at the bottom.
Anyways, two guys (Sherman Winfield and Andrew Weiss) decided it was time to take the popular meme, and use it as inspiration for this custom pair of kicks. Using a Jordan Brand Retro VIII as their canvas, the two made a pair of incredible kicks. Just take a look:
