The 50 Best Dunks of the 2018-19 NBA Season

The NBA just released this official recap of the Best 50 Dunks of the 2018-19 season. In a league that is now dominated by 3-point shooting, it’s good to see that the dunk is still alive and well. Guys like Giannis Antetokounmpo are making sure that won’t change any time soon.

The only issue I have with the NBA’s compilation is that doesn’t seem to structure its list from worst to best. In fact, the dunks at the beginning are honestly better than the dunks that close out the 15-minute video. Why would you do this to us, NBA? We need a discernible list that we can argue over during lunch breaks and via group chats. This is just 15-minutes of pure dunking, which isn’t bad, but in the age of the internet we need to be able to take a stance either for, or against, every single piece of content that is created and shared with the world.

In my opinion, Giannis is currently the best dunker in the league. That’s probably not the most ground-breaking opinion out there, but guys like Anthony Davis and LeBron James are still giving the Greek Freak a run for his money. The difference though is Giannis has also lead his team to the Eastern Conference finals while the other two are on vacation.

It’s also important to note that all of these dunks took place during the regular season. But if we’re talking about dunks in the playoffs, you only really need to see one. It’s Giannis. Again. Dunking from the free throw line. In a playoff game.

I don’t know what you see when you watch that replay, but I see opportunity. Opportunity to capitalize on the greatness that is Giannis. By this time next year, everyone will be in agreement that Giannis is the most dominant force in the NBA. That also means that everyone will be betting on Milwaukee and Giannis. But you can go ahead and take advantage of his greatness right now.

In case you’re not familiar with betting on the NBA, you can head over to to learn all of the ins and outs, tips & tricks and anything else you could ever need to know about betting on the NBA.

It’s always good to have some skin in the game when you’re watching sports. It just makes the entire experience that much more enjoyable. And the best thing about modern betting is that you can literally bet on anything and everything.

For example, some teams are just quicker out of the blocks than others, or have an edge with their starting unit in the game. Where such trends emerge, you can choose to bet on specific quarters or halves of action. See that the Warriors are crushing teams in the first half? You can bet a moneyline or against the spread for their first 24 minutes of play.

If you are undecided on the likely outcome of a game, you can still get involved with player performance bets. Odds are provided for the number of points, assists or rebounds an individual player will have in a particular game. If you don’t have faith in a team, but lover a certain player, this may be the way to go.

Those are just a few examples of how you can diversify your betting strategy. It’s also important to keep in mind that Giannis plays in the Eastern Conference, which is less competitive than the West. That’s just another reason why placing your bets on him or his squad isn’t a bad idea. Go ahead and make that money. Thank us later.
