13 College Football Players Were Suspended for Selling Their Exclusive UNC Jordan Shoe

Playing a sport at the University of North Carolina comes with a lot of perks. For starters, the school is sponsored by Jordan Brand, which means players of all sports receive a ton of exclusive, UNC-branded Jordan gear, including shoes.

That gear goes for a lot of money on the resell market and 13 UNC football players couldn’t resist the pay day. The group of players were caught selling their school-issued, special-edition Nike and Air Jordan shoes, which violate¬†NCAA¬†regulations. Each of the players will receive a minus 1-game suspension.

This just another example of how the resell market has tainted the sneaker game.
