Last week, a gigantic Keith Haring mural was discovered on the side of a building in Amsterdam. As it turns out, the mural was painted by Haring over 30-years ago. The mural, which was first created in 1986, was placed on the outside of the Stedelijk Museum’s storage depot. Shortly after its completion, the museum was covered by aluminum panels to regulate the temperature inside the building, hiding the mural in the process. The mural remained hidden until just recently, when it was re-unveiled to the public.
