Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is making headlines this week after he purchased a gigantic superyacht for the price of $250 million. For reference, Jones paid $140 million for the Cowboys franchise back in 1989.
The yacht, which has been named Gene after Jones’ wife, is over 357 feet long. Features include not one, but two helipads, a sauna, steam room, massage room, plunge pool and rain shower. Also, the lower deck comes with a complete gym and a generous and luxurious Beach Club.
Per Yachtharbour.com: It cost $250 million (as many folks pointed out, that’s $100 million more than the price he paid for the Cowboys). It’s 109 meters long, which is over 357 feet (longer than a football field). And it’s named after his wife, Gene.
