With the success of TOMS shoes, it’s no wonder that several other startups will emerge with a similar business plan — one that says “by buying our product, you’re not a selfish privileged consumer, you’re a beautiful person who cares about the unseen world around them.”  If you sensed a smidgen of sarcasm there, you sensed correctly, because I think many TOMS shoe buyers are more concerned about their image of being selfless than actually BEING selfless.  

Regardless, here’s the newest product line stemming from the “we give back” roots: it’s called 1:Face Watch.  The color of watch you buy determines which cause part of your purchase goes towards.
