What a difference 70 years makes
The New Yorker takes us on a split-screen tour of the same streets in downtown L.A., from the nineteen-forties and today. A lot has changed in Los Angeles since the 1940’s including more buildings, more traffic, and more smog. The past is what shaped Los Angeles into the vibrant city it is today and surprisingly most streets remain recognizable.
