It looks like Jordan Brand has hooked up with 9Five to release some limited edition sunglasses. These are set to release on February 16th, and will be limited to 1000 pairs.
Gourmet has been expanding beyond the realm of footwear as of late. First with their Mitchell & Ness jacket and now with these GLCO sunglasses. These limited edition GLCO Harding sunglasses were designed by Gourmet and feature a light honey acetate frame, blue fire mirrored lenses and come with a leather case and cleaning cloth. These are available now on Gourmet’s website.
9FIVE just released the limited edition “Safari Print” Tips sunglasses which were inspired by the classic Nike Air Max Safari sneakers. The Tips are wrapped in soft, full-grain leather and feature the iconic “Safari” print the outer temple with a Burnt Orange inner. The limited edition Tips also come with premium grade, Black Polarized lenses. The Safari print Tips come packaged in a miniature “shoe box”, and can be purchased now from 9FIVE’s website.
Every hipster household should have one of these. The “Looking Good” mirror comes in the form of a pair of Rayban Wayfarer Sunglasses. Both lenses serve as mirrors meaning 2 people can use this mirror simultaneously. Not to mention that it doubles as a cool piece of art.
9FIVE recently hooked up with, The Alchemist, who I would consider one of the best producers of all-time. This video a shows a little bit into his creative process. It looks like the readers are still in stock, but the regular sunglasses seemed to move quick.
In case you haven’t heard, Russell Westbrook recently joined Jordan Brand. In celebration of his new deal, Russell had 9Five Eyewear create him a few pairs of custom shades. The glasses feature the Jumpman logo on them as well as an inscription that reads, “RW-LTD. EDITION.” Russell mad headlines with his glasses during the last years playoffs and it looks likes he will be continuing this trend into this year.
Here is a cool new feature from Oakley. You can now build your own custom pair of Frogskins. There are six frames to choose from along with eight standard and four polarized lenses. But here is the dopest part, Oakley has given you the option of etching some personal text or one of 32 MLB teams logos on the lens. I just spent about an hour designing a few pairs for myself.
These are a recent pair of sunglasses from Knockaround called “Shark Attack.” They actually visited a group of 5th & 6th graders from a local elementary school, and chose one of their designs to use on the shades. Only 200 were made, and $5 from each purchase helps fund art supplies at the school.
FLüD is expanding their line of premium accessories with the introduction of their new sunglasses collection. The new line consists of The Shea, The Madison Square, The Mile High, and The Forum — all of which are reasonably priced. Head over to their online store to purchase a pair now.
The signature shoe that Koston has with Nike SB is extremely dope, so it would only make sense that his signature series with Oakley would be the same. All three feature a brown camo print, which I’m feeling a lot. Look for these to drop at select retailers and online on July 1st.
