Top 12 Of 2012 – Music Videos

We’re going to be recapping 2012 all this week.  Today we’re starting with music videos, since technically this used to be Music Monday for us.  These are simply the most viewed music videos on Sneakhype in 2012.

Mac Lethal – Oh My God! You Need To See This! (Video)

KC artist, Mac Lethal, just dropped this new video that touches on a few recent topics.  It’s pretty dope to watch him make the instrumental at the beginning.

AKG K551 Headphones

When it comes to headphones, Beats by Dre is pretty much the go-to brand. But I think I may have found their rival – the AKG K551 over-ear headphones.

Musical Instruments Made From Drug War Weapons

This is possibly one of the dopest forms of recycling I’ve ever seen.  Artist, Pedro Reyes, got a whole gang of weapons that were scheduled to be buried, and turned them into working musical instruments.  He put together 50 instruments in total, and here’s a few for you to check out.

Matt Easton – Kryptonite (Music Video)

Our friend, Matt Easton, just dropped another music video for a song off his most recent mixtape.  This one is called “Kryptonite”, and is on a little bit more of a serious note than the last video.  The song was produced by Matt, and he also composed the piano arrangement.  Enjoy.

Sneakhype Presents: G-Eazy – The Road to Must Be Nice (Video)

Our friend G-Eazy was recently here in Lawrence while on the Excellent Adventure Tour.  With the help of Connor Hays, we put together this video as insight into his live performance, as well as a preview for his upcoming album, Must Be Nice, that drops tomorrow.  Make sure you click that 1080p quality on the video.

Curren$y – Jet Life Ft. Wiz Khalifa Big K.R.I.T.

Here is Curren$y’s new video for “Jet Life” featuring Wiz Khalifa and Big K.R.I.T. This is easily one of my favorites off of The Stoned Immaculate.

Terry Crews’ Makes Music With His Muscles For Old Spice

Terry Crews is back in a new Old Spice commercial. These never cease to amaze me. In this commercial, Terry uses his muscles to make some music.  Check it out.

Wiz Khalifa DayToday – Office Hours (Video)

Wiz is back with another episode in his DayToday series.  Whatever song he’s working on in this sounds fresh.  Curious to see how his next solo effort will turn out.

Chris Brown – Til I Die (Feat. Big Sean & Wiz Khalifa)

Chris Breezy just dropped this new track featuring Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa, and I must say I’m feeling it a lot.  It’s been awhile since I’ve heard a track from Chris Brown that I personally enjoy.  Stream after the jump.

Diplo: 128 Beats Per Minute (Video)

Diplo has blown up pretty big over the last several years.  I guess you could call this video a commercial for his upcoming book with Shane McCauley titled, 128 Beats Per Minute.  A lot of inspiring stuff on the interwebs today.

Gorillaz Featuring Andre 3000 & James Murphy – DoYaThing (Music Video)

How epic of an intro to a music video is that?  This video features Converse’s 3 newest artists, The Gorillaz, Andre 3000, and James Murphy.  I need an Andre 3000 solo record on the double.

Stik Figa – Never Heard Of ‘Em

On March 3rd, our good friend Stik Figa will be dropping his new project titled, Choosy Moms Choose Stik.  This is an exclusive track that will not be featured on the project, but we got it for you here.

G-Eazy – Marilyn (Feat. Dominique LeJeune)

I’ve been growing more & more a fan of G-Eazy since I first came across him last year.  Each song he drops is beyond dope to my ears.  His ability to produce, and tailor it perfectly to his vocals is his biggest advantage in my opinion.  This is a new song he just dropped titled “Marilyn” and it features Dominique LeJeune.
