This is street art at its finest. New York based artist, Jay Shells, created a bunch of street signs featuring notable hip hop lyrics and placed them at the exact locations mentioned in each song. The signs feature quotes from artists like Jay Z, Big L, Nas, Cam’Ron, and many more. Take a closer look after the jump.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, this is a great gift idea for any of you ladies wanting me as your valentine. The auction has about 7 days left on it, and it’s already up to $72,100. It is 100% for charity, which is pretty cool. Check out the listing after the jump.
Personally, I just don’t get why people are making a big deal about Kanye wearing kilts/skirts. If I had to take a guess, he wears them so that everyone will freak out, which is exactly what they’re doing. Enjoy this video of him trying on a couple different kilt styles.
Kanye West released this trailer for “Cruel Winter” a couple days ago. I’m not exactly sure what this is trailer for however. It’s rumored that their could be a “Cruel Winter” short film along with a “Cruel Winter” album. I guess we will have to wait and see.
If you haven’t had the chance to buy or even listen to G.O.O.D. Music’s most recent effort, here’s a little insight into what it’s all about. Yeezy for president.
This is technically the third video we’ve seen for this song. Honestly, this might be my favorite though. Jay-Z & Kanye look-a-likes storm in the Paris streets in Godzilla form.
It seems like me and 2 Chainz wanted the exact same thing for our birthdays this year. It’s taken a little while for me to warm up to this song, but now I’m to the point where I love it. Dope video too.
If you have any sort of issues with motion sickness or seizures, it’s probably best you don’t watch this video. The music video features two songs, one being “I Wish You Would” by Yeezy & Rick Ross. The other one is “Cold” by Mr. West. Hype williams directed both, and it turned out pretty crazy overall.
You guys remember that Lamborghini that Kim K gave to Yeezy a little while ago. Here’s the video from Platinum Motorsport that shows you how they put it together. Dope.
Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music group landed the cover of the August/September 2012 issue of Complex. Kanye, Kid Cudi, Common, Pusha T, Big Sean, John Legend, 2 Chainz, and Q-Tip are all featured on the cover. I had no idea Q-Tip was a part of G.O.O.D. Music.
I’ve heard this song used in a couple movie trailers over the last 6 months. It’s good to finally see the song get it’s own set of visuals. The video turned out super dope. Enjoy.
