Air Force 1
We showed you the preview of the Air Force One “Year of the Dragon” a couple days ago. Well, here is the full preview of the entire collection. This is my first time seeing the Destroyer jacket that is a part of the collection. I’m definitely going to need that.
Nike Sportswear has created a special pair of Bespoke AF1’s to show their appreciation of all their fans and supporters. These limited edition kicks are not for sale. The only way to get a pair is to win them. NSW is giving away these custom Air Force 1’s via the 21 Mercer Twitter account. “The Gift,” as they are being called, features premium materials on the upper with a dope detailed inner lining and a gift-wrapped box logo on the heel of the shoe. 21 Mercer has already given away a few pairs of these AF1’s, but more will be handed out throughout the week.
These might be the dopest concepts for Bespokes I’ve ever seen. We all know that our Bespokes are pretty much the best ever, but these are definitely up there.
Entourage may be over but it’s not forgotten. One of my favorite episodes is the infamous “Fukijama” episode. After Turtle misses out on a limited edition pair of “Fukijama” Air Force 1’s at UNDFTD, Vinnie hooks him up with a pair of 1-of-1 sneakers made by the fictitious artist. Fukijama might not be real but the kicks are. Take a closer look.
There’s not too many things that look as good as denim, if it’s done right. They nailed these premium AF1’s, they look absolutely amazing. These are supposed to be hitting retailers this summer, expect a little steeper price-tag since they’ve been marked with the premium tag.
Two new Bespokes that just came out of 21 Mercer in NY. These were designed by Frank & Deon of Concepts. I’m feeling them both, but I think Deon’s are more my style.
After every pair of AF1 Bespoke’s that are done, i realize how bad i need to get down to 21 Mercer and make myself a pair. I don’t even necessarily like AF1’s, but all the Bespoke’s have been crazy! These ones designed by David Margolis, definitely turned out dope.
Blogger Marcus Troy recently hit up Nike’s 21 Mercer store in NYC to create a custom pair Air Force 1’s. The kicks come in a Black/Grey/Turquoise colorway and feature a mixture of leather, Kevlar, waterproof denim and suede materials. They are definitely some of the dopest Bespoke AF1’s i have seen in a while. Take a closer look after the jump.
