Big Sean has teamed up with adidas for a collaborative sneaker release. The “Detroit Players” feature a red croc skin upper with gold accents and a quote on the inside of the ankle that reads “I say I’m still dreaming bigger than I’m living.” I would to love to add these to my personal collection.
Snoop Dogg gets his Ebenezer Scrooge on in this new video presented by adidas.
I love Nike as much as the next guy, but I really don’t think we showcase enough adidas Originals gear. As the weather is turning, I’m thinking about jacket purchases, and I really like a couple that I’m seeing from adidas. An online retailer, Northern Threads, has as good of a selection as any I’ve seen, and you get 10% off your first order.
It’s time for another episode of Derrick Rose’s mini-series. This one holds the theme of DRIVE, and it has D Rose showing you a little about how he grew up.
I wasn’t really feeling the D Rose 3 by adidas until I saw this colorway. These electric yellow kicks have been dubbed the “Chicago Fire.” The upper is made of rubberized, heavy-duty synthetics reminiscent of a firefighter’s turnout coat. The stripes on the back are reflective, while the black SPRINTFRAME was inspired by fire boots. The inside of the left tongue features the cross symbol of firefighters with the D Rose logo in the middle, and the right shoe features Rose’s lasered signature.
Derek Rose and adidas just dropped the 3rd installment of “The Return of D Rose” series. The theme of this episode is “focus.”
Most weeks pass by, and we only feature maybe 7-8 pairs of kicks total. There’s so many other shoes that are announced or previewed that we don’t show love to. We felt like it was necessary to give you a weekly recap that shows you some of our favorites from the week that haven’t been on the site yet.
Well, if you haven’t heard, adidas has decided to halt the release of a shoe recently designed by Jeremy Scott. There was a huge outrage over the last few days that had people crying out that these shoes were “racist”. I can’t help but think that’s extremely silly. What do you guys think?
The adizero Crazy Light 2 Glow colorway keeps players lighter and brighter even at night with a new “glow” finish that illuminates the shoe’s laces, outsole and three stripes in the dark. The all black colorway features yellow lining, eyelets and outsole accented with a white adizero pin line, laces and three stripes. The adizero Crazy Light 2 is now available in the limited edition Glow colorway on miadidas.com.
Adidas just revealed this Black/Green colorway of their new Crazy Light 2 shoes. The adizero Crazy Light 2 was developed to not only be the lightest shoe in basketball, but to be stronger than its predecessor with the help of the the new SPRINTFRAME and updated SPRINTSKIN. This new black/green colorway will be available for purchase on May 24 and pre-sale is already up at Foot Locker.
These uniforms are up to 40% lighter than standard issue, and almost 4000% more obnoxious. adidas is definitely trying to follow suit and match the attention-grabbing exclusive uniforms Nike has put out for various schools (most notably the Oregon Ducks). I’ll have to see them on the court to really decide if I either love ‘em or hate ‘em.
The adiPower Howard is the third signature shoe for Dwight Howard. It features a SPRINTSKIN upper for increased strength and reduced weight as well as Z-Torsion technology for stability on the court. Each shoe features the number 12 on the outside ankle support area. The three stripes are broken into separate pin lines inspired by his jersey. Dwight’s signature is placed at the top of the tongue and numbers 1 and 2 are placed on the base of the tongue on the right and left shoe respectively. The sockliner features the famous grin of this known funnyman.
