News, Sneakhype

So here’s the deal.  You’ve never even met this guy, and guess what… I haven’t either.  But please spare me a moment to explain to you why you should take 2 clicks of your mouse to support this dude.  Christian Terry is a long-time fan of Sneakhype.  He’s been submitting his amazing photography to the site for probably 3 years now.  I am always super excited to hear from Christian.

His work is truly awesome (I’ve had one of his shots as my computer background for a year now).  And when he submits his photography (unlike most others that we receive), he never seeks personal recognition, rather, he just seems to want to contribute to the Sneakhype community, and be a part of it — help make it unique and different from other sites.  (Really though, check out how dope his photography is.)

I was very saddened to receive news recently that Christian was involved in a terrible car accident.  From his friend:

“Friday night he was involved in a head on car crash that left him with 2 broken femers, 4 breaks in his right leg, severe burns, punctured lung and severed liver.  As of right now he is in a drug induced coma in the ICU on a resperator here in Utah.”

Just a few days later, Christian is doing a ton better as I’ve been following the updates on his Facebook page here.

But I want Sneakhype to try to help do something for him.  What can we do?  Not much, but let me run this by you… you know how on your birthday you get like 89 wall posts from people wishing you a happy birthday (or 684 if you’re a hot girl)?  You know that feeling that’s like, “Damn well that was nice of everybody.  I had no idea this many people even cared.”

Well my idea is pretty simple.  Let’s just flood his Facebook page with support so when he comes out of his drug-induced coma, his friends will show him his page and he will be flooded with that very feeling but times a million when he sees the support from friends, family, and the Sneakhype community.  Please Like his support page.

Also feel free to comment on this post and tell him his photography is the shit.
