World-class athletes, creatives and eager sneakerheads flocked to adidas’ first ever 747 Warehouse Street festival (February 16-17) to celebrate NBA All-Star Weekend and the future of basketball culture.
Vividly blurring the lines between sport, music and fashion, attendees were treated to a fully immersive experience, that was nothing short of awe-inspiring. Highlights included a celebrity studded basketball featuring rappers Snoop Dogg and 2 Chainz as team captains, live musical performances by 21 Savage, N.E.R.D. and Childish Gambino, and even the rare opportunity to design footwear alongside industry veterans thanks to adidas’ Brooklyn Creator Farm.
Three stripe fans were also able to purchase twelve event exclusive shoes, including the brand’s highly sought after Dame 4 BAPE and Alexander Wang collaborations.
The two-day event proved to be a milestone for the brand and served as an opportunity to usher in the next generation of creatives, innovators, and athletes – proudly inspiring them to shape the future of the game.
Weren’t able to make it to 747, but still longing to drill threes like the pros? The Harden Vol. 2 is out now and comes complete with FORGEFIBER and BOOST technology ($140 USD).
