The NBA’s reigning MVP, Russell Westbrook, just singed the biggest deal in Jordan Brand history. The new agreement locks Westbrook into a 10-year extension with the Jumpman. That means he’ll be rocking Jordan’s on his feet until the 2025/26 season.
All of the details haven’t been disclosed yet, but it’s being reported that Westbrook will be receiving his first Signature shoe from Jordan as part of the extension. Along with his own shoe, Jordan Brand has agreed to make annual donations to Westbrook’s “Why Not?” Foundation in OKC and Southern LA. Lastly, the deal includes an Ambassador clause which ensures that Westbrook and Jordan Brand’s partnership will continue even after his playing days are over.
