While out in Cali, our homies over at E The Real shot a little lookbook for this year’s Summer & Spring collection. Just a few pieces so far, but definitely dope. A few more items are expected to drop shortly, be on the lookout for those. Purchase info after the jump.
Giving away free stuff is what we do best here at SNEAKHYPE. But this time around we are not only giving away free stuff, you can also enter for a chance to bring Snoop Dogg to the University of Kansas for a free concert. We’ve hooked up with EA SPORTS and are giving away 3 XBox games. The games include: Madden NFL 11, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, and FIFA 11. Enter to win these games and vote to bring Snoop Dogg to you school! Find out how enter after the jump.
Kansas University student, loyal Sneakhyper, and distinguished scholar who wishes to remain anonymous under the alias “Wet Wet” repped SNEAKHYPE — harder than perhaps it has ever been repped — when (s)he submitted a term paper written about sneakhype this past finals week. Read the entire A+ paper here:
That’s right folks, SNEAKHYPE hooked up with Fresh Live Youth Society for the 2nd annual Sneakology sneaker convention. Sneakology is the perfect place to showcase your own collection of kicks and chop it up with fellow sneakerheads. Get all the info after the jump!
If you didn’t know, Sneakhype likes to party. So what we do is: we throw parties. This past Friday, we hosted a banger featuring Greg Enemy, Stik Figa and D/Will. Big thanks to everyone who came out and supported us — I would thank you personally, but I don’t remember who you were because I was F*in wasted. Here are some pics from the show courtesy of Aimee Slate.
That’s right people oh!mr. and SNEAKHYPE.com have joined forces once again to bring you another event to kick off 2010 properly. If you’re in or around the Lawrence area come Jan 22nd, there is no excuse for missing this show. Think of it as a belated birthday present from that quirky uncle who lives in New Mexico that you only see once every three years or so. Because he lives off the grid and hasn’t eaten meat since 1989. And he vehemently disagrees with the way your parents raised you. But he still cares, so go visit him at the Jackpot on FRI JAN 22nd! Our performers include Stik Figa and D/Will who recently released their collaborative LP “hellogoodbye”! They’ll be performing material off their new album together. Kansas City’s thrift store champion, the one and only Greg Enemy, will set things off and special guest DJ Max Justus (The Record Machine) will keep things hot & sweaty so bring a light jacket for this one. Let’s get the family together one more time! 10 pm, 18 and up, $5-7. See you there!
Well first of all… check out Cole Aldrich’s wingspan. Dude could box out an entire team with that Pteradactyl-like reach. After the click, though, you’ll not only see Cole, but also a few other dudes (who don’t even freakin play) make magic rain on the hardwood of Allen Fieldhouse. Seeing is believing.
College basketball is back which means one thing, the return of everyone’s favorite feature Kicks on Campus. I thought I’d start of with a battle of kicks between two powerhouse programs Kansas vs Kentucky. . .and more importantly a battle between the two best guards in the nation, Sherron Collins vs John Wall. Who do you think is rockin the best kicks? and what guard would you rather have leading your team? SNEAKHYPERS let us know what you think after the jump. All-American Sherron Collins at Late Night rockin some Adidas TS BOUNCE Commander 3 KG Team Blue/White. Kentucky Freshman John Wall throws down a windmill dunk while wearing some Nike Hyperize in Blue/White.
The $42 million dollar facelift at Allen Fieldhouse was finally revealed this Wedesday to local media. The renovations include a new practice facility which has a 1 and 1/2 basketball court, players lounge, rehab/training room, updated locker room, and many new features throughout the field house. It looks dope and it’s great timing, Late Night is this friday and KU will be hosting some of the top high school talent in the nation like Harrison Barnes(number 1 player in the nation), Josh Selby(best dunker in 2010 class),Doron Lamb(Oak Hill Academy product), J.P. Tokoto(2012), and many others so hopefully these facilities will impress them. Check out all the pics after the jump.
