Nike Basketball is preparing to release its new “Hero” collection which consists of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kobe Bryant’s signature shoes. The kicks feature bright colorways and all of Nike’s most sophisticated technology. The LeBron 11 Elite is the standout but the rest of the collection is impressive as well. An artist on Behance that goes by the name of Dead Dilly has created a series of designs showing what the high end collaborations could look like. Dead Dilly used the Air Jordan 1-11 as his canvas. Nike is following up last years FB pack with this new Nike Air Max 1 FB “Mercurial” collection. The soccer inspired pack consists of 4 shoes, all of which were influenced by a specific era in the Mercurial soccer boots lineage. Colorways include polarized blue and total crimson (2014), atomic violet and total orange (2010), vibrant yellow and black (2006), and metallic silver and volt (2002). Each pair of kicks features a dimpled synthetic upper, premium suede, and mesh detailing. The pack will be available for purchase starting April 12th from Nike.
Previews of the adidas Originals ZX FLUX “Multi” have been floating around for awhile now but today we get a detailed look at the highly anticipated kicks. The shoe itself is very simple in design but the multi-colored colorway really gives it a unique look. The ZX FLUX will be available in several other colorways but this is the best one in my opinion. These will be tough to get your hands on but they will be available at select adidas stores in the coming weeks.
On March 26th, Nike will be celebrating the 27th anniversary of one its most iconic shoes, the Air Max 1, which was first launched all the way back in 1987. The Air Max 1 has remained on of Nike’s most popular shoes over the years and is still highly coveted by sneakerheads everywhere. In celebration of the anniversary, Nike will be releasing a special edition of the revolutionary shoe. The kicks feature a classic white/red upper on top of a volt outsole. Other notable features include a tag on the tongue reading “3.26″ which pays homage to the day they were released.
The good people over at Dank Customs have created what might be the dopiest custom Air Jordan sneakers of all time. These Air Jordan 4′s were inspired by Kanye West’s Louis Vuitton “Don” sneakers that came out a few years back. The color matching and detailing is spot on. Louis Vuitton brandon can be found on the tongue and midsole. The laces even feature the tassels.
