Going on an outdoor adventure any time soon?  If yes, you might want to check out this second installment of our Sneakhype Select Series.  This time around we head down to the feet to feature a dope pair of boots from Etnies called the Califas.

I don’t typically find myself on a ton of outdoor excursions, but when I do, comfort is always key.  The Califas definitely excel in this category.  They feature a Foam Lite1 sole from STI (Sole Technology Institute), which make trekking around a lot easier.

Another main attribute that I search for when it comes to my shoes is quality.  If you’re going to spend the $$$ on something, you want them to be able to withstand a little abuse.  Between the leather lining, leather exterior, and Vibram outsole, I’d say these guys will take quite a beating.

Lastly, looks are the deciding factor after the first two are taken care of.  Finding a shoe that can maintain comfort, quality, and give people something to look at is quite the trifecta.  The black colorway isn’t something that stands out, but the orange laces & accents give off a nice pop that catches your eye.  All-in-all, the Califas is a very well-rounded shoe that will have you looking & feeling right for the upcoming Fall & Winter seasons.
