Back in the day, when Apliiq was just at it’s mother’s teet, we gave you a little preview of what we thought was a company that was about to blossom into bigtime.  Hate to say it, but… told ya so.  Check this out:

In celebration of 2009 apliiq has launched the new apliiq custom site.  The site offers customizable old school Reebok Hi-Tops in which the customer can choose the base color, lace color, accent color and accent fabric for their shoes.  Other custom apliiq offerings include Hoodys, Tees and Jewelry.

The website was released to the public on January 2nd when apliiq welcomed over 400 tastemakers to party with the family at Public Assembly in Brooklyn, New York.  The event, titled “Clothes Can Be Fun”, officially introduced apliiq and the new apliiq website to New York.  The party was sponsored by Spin Magazine, Frank 151, and Karmaloop.
