Even though the Air Jordan 1 is a basketball shoe, this just might be one of the best skateboarding shoes ever. The “AJ One SB” features an invisibility cloak-inspired upper, and a 3M embedded collar to help stand out at night. Not to mention the ankle support that the AJ1 model has been known to offer. March 15th will bring this momentous release to fruition, and I’m guessing these will go fast.
Foot Locker will be dropping the limited KD 6 “Aunt Pearls” tonight. Every year Nike & Kevin Durant dedicate a shoe to Kevin’s late Aunt Pearl, who passed away from lung cancer in 2000. At 8PM EST, these will be available to grab online over at Foot Locker.

The P-Rod, Stefan Janoksi, and Eric Koston pro models have all been transformed into much more comfortable versions of their former selves with the addition of Air Max cushions and Free soles. Not only are the shoes more comfortable, a mesh upper allows for increased flexibility as well. All three pairs of shoes come in an all black color way and are available on Nike.com now.
In on-going attempt to further establish themselves in urban culture, adidas has added another influential designer to their already impressive roster. adidas Originals announced today that they have officially formed a new partnership with street wear legend and BAPE founder, NIGO. The addition of NIGO comes right on the heels of their new partnership with Kanye West. There is not much info regarding the partnership, except that NIGO’s first collection with adidas is due to release in Fall/Winter of 2014. Now that they have partnered with both Kanye West and NIGO, can adidas finally overtake Nike as the leading footwear/lifestyle brand?
Nike will be releasing this new Air Max Barefoot pack this upcoming summer. The pack consists of two pairs of kicks – the Nike Air Max 90 and Air Max Light, both of which have received Nike’s Barefoot treatment. The Barefoot versions of these classic shoes are constructed to be the lightest versions yet, mainly due to the predominately mesh upper. Both pairs of sneakers com come in a white/black/red color way. Look for these to be released at your local Nike retailers in the coming months.
