Over the weekend, Nike celebrated the 45th anniversary of the iconic Cortez sneaker. The party consisted of all things LA – lowriders, tacos and good music.
The event was held at Delicious Pizza in LA and featured a museum of the Cortez shoe that consisted of several versions of the classic sneaker. The night was capped off with a performance by DJ Mustard and appearances by L.A. legends, Mister Cartoon and Estevan Oriol.
Nike also celebrated the 45th anniversary by releasing the Cortez in the OG Forrest Gump colorway, which is available for purchase now.
