Artist Daniel Arsham is known for his creating art work that depicts the decay of pop culture objects. But his latest exhibition, 3018, is his most ambitions effort yet.
Arsham created 1:1 scale versions of a 1981 DeLorean and a 1961 Ferrari 250GT California that are reminiscent of the cars from Back to the Future and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. The vehicles, which appear to be decaying, took over a year to create.
The exhibition also includes seemingly random junkyard objects, iterations of pop art, exposed walls, and wrapped sculptures.
If you’re in NYC, make sure you stop by the show.
