Map Of Japan Made Using 1.8 Million LEGO’s

There is no shortage of amazing LEGO creations on the internet, but this may be the most impressive one yet. In celebration of its 50th anniversary since being introduced to Japan, LEGO’s sponsored a cross-country “Build Up Japan” campaign in which over 5000 people in 6 different regions of Japan collaborated to create this colossal map of Japan. The map is not an exact replica of Japan. Instead participants were encouraged to build imaginary structures in order to create an ideal version of Japan using only LEGO blocks. Once completed, the finished product was then transported to Tokyo, where it was put on display.
