The New TWA Hotel at JFK Airport is Straight Out of the 1960's

By

Back in 2015, we showed you an abandoned terminal at JFK airport that was originally built in 1962. For some reason, the terminal was never used and was therefore left virtually untouched for nearly 50 years. That terminal has now been turned into the TWA hotel.

It looks to be a pretty amazing place to stay, as far as airport hotels go. Aside from being super stylish, the hotel has a 50,000-square-foot events center, the Paris Café by world-renowned chef Jean-Georges and the world’s largest hotel gym, standing at 10,000 square feet. It also has 512 soundproof guest rooms that come complete with mid-century furnishings.

Rooms start as low as $139 USD and can be booked by visiting TWA Hotel’s website.
