The New McDonald’s Flagship Restaurant in Chicago Looks Like an Apple Store

McDonald’s just opened up a new flagship restaurant in Chicago and it looks more like a swanky steak house than it does a fast food chain. The space was designed by Chicago-based firm Ross Barney Architects as part of the McDonald’s new global headquarters, which are located in Chi town. The McDonald’s Global Menu Restaurant — as its being called – features a a garden planted with ferns and white birch trees while the spacious interior is outfitted with enough wireless charging stations and outlets to keep half of Chicago charged up.
