Remember when you used to have to ask your friends make you a mixtape? That was the inspiration behind Sharetapes. Sharetapes allow you to create personalized playlists on Spotify, YouTube, 8tracks, or any other online media source. You then save the playlist on your very own Sharetape by hitting record at Sharetapes.com. Once the playlist is saved on to your Sharetape you can then give the tape to whoever you like. You have the option of sharing the playlist by tapping the card on their NFC-enable device (Android, Windows or Blackberry devices), scanning the QR code using your smartphone, or hitting play on Sharetapes.com.
Official Brand is preparing to release their most polarized line of headwear yet. On one end of the spectrum you will find minimal designs involving simple applications of Official’s flagship logos; on the other end you will find an explosion of patterned fabric and premium materials. All of these pieces breathe new life into any post-winter wardrobe eager for change.
Artist Ebon Heath combines his love for typography and art with his new series of work entitled “Art Speak.” Ebon and his team of designers take different letters and typography’s and erect these sculptures in an attempt to bring the words to life. The sculpted pieces don’t just stand up, they are also mobiles which hang, swirl and twist and turn.
After much anticipation, DC TeamWorks and Robbie Maddison have finally released their project entitled “AIR.CRAFT.” This project serves as DC TeamWork’s first video. It was filmed in a military airplane graveyard in Tucson, Arizona and showcases Robbie Maddison’s amazing motorcross skills.
Derrick Rose pays homage to his hometown of Chicago with these new kicks. The “Chi-Town” 3.5’s come in a very bright Turquoise and Red colorway. “Raised in Chicago” is also stitched in scripted letters on the inner tongue. It’s good to see that adidas is still consistently releasing new colorways even though Rose is still recovering from injury. This limited edition colorway will be available beginning February 28th.
With the 3Doodler, two dimensional doodling may soon become a thing of the past. The 3Doodler is the world’s first 3D printing pen. Using ABS plastic (the material used by many 3D printers), the 3Doodler allows you to draw in the air or lift your drawings right off your paper.
