You guys may have seen a post we did quite a while ago by Slinkachu. This is a very similar assortment of art from Kurt Moses titled, Un Petit Monde, which is French for “A Small World”.
During an interview at the Oscars, Sacha Baron Cohen dumped an urn full of ashes all over Ryan Seacrest. It didn’t take long for the video to go viral.
An open letter from Chief Dopeness Officer, EG: The people have spoken. You want the old Dopeness gallery back, so we’re going to give it back… tomorrow. We’re just going to gather 2 full days of analytics and see how users engage with the content so that we can go back to the drawing board and give you the best user interface possible.
How dope would this place be? You and your date pull up to your house after dinner, she’s just thinking of how ugly your home is. Then, BOOM! You get her inside, and panties proceed to drop. The interior of this place is too dope.
Who wants to make a bet? I’m going to set the over/under at 17,500 push pins. Without looking at the video description, try and guess if it was over or under that number. Apparently he spent time on this every day for around a month to complete it. Crazy.
With spring & summer approaching rapidly, it’s time to stock up on some sunglasses. These particular ones are from Ray-Ban, and feature a type graphic on the inside of the frames.
I’ve always wondered why we haven’t had a movie about Bob Marley. Well, it looks like Magnolia Pictures was wondering the same thing, and put together this film directed by Kevin Macdonald. Go check it out in theaters on 4/20.
Ronnie Fieg and Asics have got a pretty good thing going. Each one of their collabs has been pretty dope. They don’t try to do anything too crazy, which is what I like about the shoes they’ve worked on together. These are the new “Rose Gold” GT-II’s.
There’s no doubt that all 4 of these dudes can get up, but the dunk contest is just not what it used to be. After watching this year’s, I think they should just do a contest to see who can jump over the craziest prop. Anyways, if you missed the festivities on Saturday, just watch this.
What do you guys think of the new Dopeness gallery format? We’re still working out a few kinks, but this should allow for quicker load times, easier referencing and sharing of pics. Meh? (Comments welcome, please and thanks.)
Lost that loving feeling and need to get away from the city, or maybe just need to get away from US federal jurisdiction — all while being eco-friendly? Architect Jorge Gracia provides a solution for all of the above with these freestanding cabins on stilts located in Tijuana, Mexico. Modern, simple, and on stilts — perfect for escaping the law or rekindling that fire. Where do I sign?

I love and hate this campaign all at the same time. I love it because it’s hilarious, it’s viral, and genuinely entertaining. But I hate it because it’s so much of a joke, it’s nearly making a joke of their own product. First off, the shoe looks like it ran right out of an open box in a Payless store aisle. It’s so gimmicky – first we had Tubes, now Blades?
Is it just me or has there been an abundance of extremely dope cribs lately? This one that’s located in the Caribbean might make you a little jealous. Lee Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership are the ones to blame for this beauty.
