We’re not about to rep the Jets, though their ridiculously, unforeseeably stacked roster is the reason why I cancelled my then-current Madden 11′ Franchise and started anew with the Namath Crew. Even with Darrelle Revis holding out for $2.3 Billion/year, they’re still that good. We will however rep the hottest series out right now, as it is has been this time of year since its inception, Hard Knocks. Not a Jetty? Neither are we, but you’d have to be one nihilistic son-of-a-bitch to not enjoy this shit. If you’d asked me last year, I’d have rather rolled Rex Ryan’s soggy ass down a thorny gorge than spend any time watching a show that revolves around him. His defense, namely Revis, came very close to dethroning my Champion Fantasy Status last year….but new light has been shed. Peep it for yourself on HBO on demand, episode II (which’ll be a duezy of a NYG face off, cage-travolta style) is due out on Wednesday. Smoke too much weed? Can’t pay your HBO bill, no worries…peep it in HD here
Due to the fact that I am as manly as they come I normally don’t rock Pink kicks, but I think I could make an exception for these. The Pink/Grey Lunar Elite’s feature a Lunarlite sole and a Flywire upper making them lightweight yet supportive. Unfortunately these are a very limited Quickstrike release and will be only available at select Quickstrike retailers. But they are still fun to look at, check out some more pictures after the jump.
Watchmakers Bell & Ross just released a new colorway of their BR03-92 model. The camouflage inspired timepiece features a green ceramic face and a green canvas band as well. You could wear this thing to a nightclub or on a safari in the Amazon rainforest. These are available now at all B&R retailers.
I’m not really sure what Singapore’s last icon was, but i can definitely see why the Marina Bay Sands hotel is Singapore’s new icon. The $5.8 billion dollar hotel is constructed of three 55-story towers with a giant boat-like building on top which has been dubbed the “SkyPark.” Features include an indoor canal that has Sampan boats to ride in, a casino, a lotus flower shaped museum, and an infinity swimming pool on top of the SkyPark overlooking the city. If you didn’t have a reason to go to Singapore you do now. Take a closer look at the hotel after the jump.
We’ve got some good news for all you iPad owners, famed Italian luxury goods firm Tod’s is now offering one of the world’s most expensive iPad cases. The luxurious carrying capsule has a price tag of $4,900 – almost ten times the cost of Apples 16GB iPad itself. Although that may sound ridiculously expensive it should be expected when the case is hand-made in Italy from the world’s finest alligator skin. The cases will be available in Brown, Blue, and Tan from Tod’s boutiques worldwide beginning in November. More pictures after the jump.
Unprecedented, we know. Two tracks in one week….we apologize for our lax approach to keeping these comin’, so we’re just gunna go ahead and make up for it, retrospectively. Bangin’ new track here off Big Krizzy’s latest album, “Krit was Here”. Download it hurr. Whole albums worth checkin’, peep his myspace right thurr.
Took a few weeks off from TOTW, I apologize. We’ll get back to havin’ it regularly, and I’m going to start throwing in old school tracks, and other random songs. This week we have another banger from Yonas, the man has been grindin’. Definitely vibin’ to this one, download/stream after the jump.
Everybody’s favorite writing utensil company is changing the game of the age-old scribe. The new Sharpie Liquid Pencil has no lead. It instead uses an ink that erases just as graphite would EXCEPT… after 3 days, it goes to permanent sharpie mode and can never be erased for the rest of eternity. These babies hit stores in September, but they’re already available online here or here or other places.
With all the controversy surrounding LeBron this off-season, it seems like people forgot about as his shoe line. King James’ latest signature shoe, The Air Max VIII, hasn’t received as much hype as his previous shoes, but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve it. The 8’s feature 360 air max technology and Flywire accents. The shoe does seem to have a slimmer look than the 7’s, but with this colorway it manages to work pretty well…it’ll match Bronny’s Heat colors perfectly. More pictures after the jump.
