So less than 1 week after Steve Jobs popped bottles and made mimosas all Saturday morning when he raked like half a billion in revenue as hundreds of thousands lined up for his iPad… He drops iPhone OS 4 on your ass. Available this summer (and in the fall for iPad), the new OS will allow you to multitask (shibby), organize your apps into folders, use the new iBookstore, and even manage multiple email accounts from Mail. It’s gonna be real dope… and let me also raise a middle finger to the iPad haters for saying that my man Mr. Jobs wouldn’t have multitasking available for the first version of the iPad. More info on all the details and new features at the Apple website.
Another one of those dope mashups just popped up on the web today. This time it comes from DJ Max Tannone, who has previously dropped Jaydiohead, which was a mashup between Jay-Z and Radiohead. This time around he’s taken audio tracks from the one and only Mos Def and layed them over some classic dub reggae songs. Much like the Wu-Tang & The Beatles mashup I posted a few weeks ago, this one is just as good. I heard one song from this album and was instantly hooked and have been listening to this shit alllll day. The project is called Mos Dub and we’ve got it streaming for free and links to download after the jump.
Everytime I get a glimpse of product from the clothing company, Adapt, I feel like I’m from San Fransisco. They always have the cleanest designs & concepts that are clear & simple. Expect this collection to drop on Friday at their online web-store. If you’re not familiar with Adapt, get familiar by checkin’ out this interview we did with them awhile back.
iPhone accessory company, Griffin, hooked up with textile manufacturer Chilewich to make this remarkably unique case. It features a hard shell that is backed with a vinyl weave. When you put it all together you get a straight über bitchin head-turner. Available at the Apple store for 39.95
Look closely, my friends. Look closely and you will see that this AK is actually comprised of tiny stuffed bunny rabbits. I mean, Michelangelo and Monet may cut it close… but it looks as though Alexandre Silva takes the cake for illinest artist of all time with this portfolio. There’s a grenade made from teddy bears. Freakin teddy bears people. Guess what the machete is made of? Guess. Wrong. Race cars. Vroom vroom pahty stahtah. SICK.
