The Hundreds just released the “Checkers” New Era. Usually I’m not a huge fan of The Hundreds but when I saw this hat I think it’s their first item I’ve fallen in love with. The Louis V type design with the simple lettering for “The Hundreds” is amazing. I would rock this any day of the week. Buy it now at The Hundreds online shop now.(via Daily Drop)
So Dope Couture just dropped some new limited edition hoodies, and sweaters. All of ‘em are pretty sick looking, the hoodie i liked the best is already sold out though, so get yours quick, because there going fast. More pics, and prices after the jump.
Obey just came out with some fresh new ladies tee’s, the one above being my favorite, the Chuck D T-Shirt. Heads up though ladies, Obey just changed there sizing chart down one size exactly, example if you usually wear a large, buy a medium in Obey. It’ll warn you this again when you go to make the purchase.
César Evangelista Bautista… now that is a name for an artist. I was talkin a bit ago about a dude named ARMOgedon, and how that’s not a proper name for anyone with talent. But César’s got it figured out. His work is fun and fresh… eye-popping colorschemes and hard contrasts. He’s working out of Mexico, and you can really pick up on his culture and ethnicity from his work… very much like a lot of the Spanish-speaking artists we’ve been featuring lately. Check out his website here. And he also has a pretty stacked portfolio here. More pics and fullsizers after the jump.
Crooks and Castles recently released some new belts. The belts are made of Nylon with metal buckles and come in a few different color schemes. The belt seen above comes in White/Green/Red colorway that resembles the Gucci colors. Check out the other belts after the jump. You can buy these belts here.
So this artist has been around for sometime, but he’s probably one of my favorite graffiti artists, if not my favorite artist period. He goes by the name of bansky, but there has always been uncertainty about his identity. Most of his art has to do with politics, culture, and ethics. He has a lot of controversial pieces, but it all looks amazing to me.
So i got a few new Nixon releases for ya. Shown above is the Nixon Justice NE Hat. Pretty dope, they hooked up with New Era on the collab. Plaid still seems to be lingering on to popularity with everyone. I don’t mind it, as long as its not crazy colored plaid like lime green, and orange. Anyways this hats going for $34.99 at Active. Check out some more Nixon stuff after the jump, and where to get it all.
HIP HOP NEWS @ DEFSOUNDS.COM So I’m diggin’ this new joint set to be on DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz The Album 2. I haven’t heard a sound from Too Short for awhile, so it was good to hear him on this. It’s definately a club banger, so you might want to throw it on your next party’s playlist.
Nixon will soon be releasing the Nixon TV Star, its a great watch to start their 09 campaign. There’s not much information on it yet but its looks like it was designed by Lysandres Follet. Follet was behind some other Nixon projects like the Tetris Forever and Pong watches. Check out the other two after the jump.[via likecool]
Crooks and Castles 8021 Flagship Store is celebrating it’s 1 year anniversary this week. These two t-shirts will be released to commerate the anniversary on the 26th. The shirts will only be available at the 8021 store in LA and they will probably go quick.
Metallic Gold has been the color of the season, from kicks to coats and now wallets everyone is getting down on the trend. This BBC wallet is probably one of my favorite products featuring the metallic gold, or as i like to call it, the color of royalty. BBC/Ice Cream just released their new Spring 2009 Gold Accessories line which as of right now includes this wallet and key chain. More products, including a backpack, should be released for this line, and yes everything will be metallic Gold. [highsnobiety]
Stussy just came out with a new T-shirt, although it is a little late for christmas it’s still dope. The shirt is pretty simple, combining some vibrant colors and Stussy’s timeless grahpics. It is set to release on December 27th in Japan, hopefully it makes its way stateside. [highsnob]
